The Police Dept. is located at 99 N. Pine St. in Gwinn
The Dept. is comprised of: Police Chief Bradford T. Arnsparger, 5 Full-time Officers, and 1 Full-time Office Staff.
The Officers provide 24 hour coverage for the entire Township as well as the entire community at Sawyer.

Ambulance Service
Forsyth Township offers 2 Limited Advanced ambulance. Both ambulances are equipped with defibulators. There are always two EMT's on-call to respond to any emergency. If there is a personal injury accident, the fire department will also respond with us.

Fire Chief, Myron Hillock
The Forsyth Township Fire Dept. is comprised of 30 dedicated Volunteer Firefighters.
Our Dept. has five fire suppression vehicles, including a quick response vehicle, a tanker, and pumper trucks; other equipment used includes; Scott Air Packs, Thermal Imaging Camera, Foam Fire Suppression equipment.
They respond at any time and cover all of Forsyth Township. We also resond through mutual aid to the rest of Marquette County. The Dept. also responds in support of our EMS Dept. when needed. Our service is also equipped for extrication.
