NICE Community Schools is a rural district nestled in the rolling hardwood-covered hills in western Marquette County of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The campus features Westwood High School (opened in 1974), and the Aspen Ridge Middle and Elementary School, which opened its doors in September, 1997. Both facilities are modern, clean, and have safe environments for children to learn and achieve their greatest potential.
NICE is a relatively young district, comprised of six townships immediately west of the city of Ishpeming. The district began operations in September, 1972.
